We have recently posted about best places to put google adsense ads on your website, and today we will suggest you the best positions to place your google ads so that you can earn maximu from the google adsense ads with higth CTR. Placing ads on the blog is very important because sometime bloggers makes blog clumsy and hence users don’t find the blog more user friendly and easy to access. we are doing blogging from past 5 years and using Adsense from almost 4 and half year, from that exp and the help from gogole today we will see how best you should utilize the Google adsense ads on your blog and also earn high earning from it.

So lets start looking at the best positions to place google ads in your blog. There are two options available for Home and Article page types, you can choose which one you want to put on try.

A. Best places to show Google Adsense ads in the Blog – Homepage

In the examples below, you will find two types of best practise implementations depending on your Homepage’s layout and structure.

Homepage 1

1. Place a 728×90 leaderboard image ad above the fold for placement targeting and to receive higher brand value and clickthrough rates (CTR).
2. Place a 160×600 wide skyscraper ad unit below the navigation bar. Set them to display text and image ads.
3. Depending on your page length, we suggest placing a 728×90 leaderboard ad unit in the middle or at the end of your page.
4. Add an additional 160×600 wide skyscraper below the side navigation bar.

Homepage 2

1. Place a 728×90 leaderboard image ad above the fold for placement targeting to receive high brand value and clickthrough rate (CTR).
2. Place two 300×250 medium rectangle ad units in the right navigation bar to attract the user’s eye. Set them to display text and image ads.
3. Depending on your page length, we recommend putting a 728×90 leaderboard ad unit right above the first post.

B. Best places to show Google Adsense ads in the Blog - Article Page

In the examples below, you will find best practice implementations depending on your Article Page’s layout and structure.

Article Page 1

1. Embed a 336×280 large rectangle ad unit (text and image) into your article. Place it towards the upper right-hand side.
2. Place another 336×280 large rectangle ad unit between the article and comments.
3. Add a 160×600 wide skyscraper ad unit below the left navigation bar and set it to display text and image ads.

Article Page 2

1. Place two 336×280 large rectangle ad units (text and image): one on the upper right of the content, embedded within the text and the other below the article.
2. Add a 300×250 medium rectangle ad unit below the right navigation bar. Set them to display text and image ads.
