Windows Server 2008 and jQuery Blocked on IE8 [Issue Resolved]
Windows Server 2008 and jQuery Blocked on IE8 [Issue Resolved]:Yesterday a strange thing happened with me when i have tried to open one of my web application in localhost On a Windows Server 2008 system with IIS7 and IE8 Environment. My web application was running on Windows Server 2003 and IE7 + IIS6 without any error before, and i was able to click on jQuery Calendar control and JavaScript was also doing great under that environment.
But when i have installed same application in Windows Server 2008 + IE8 and IIS 7 it has stopped working, and then i have search for it and i found a solution and after applying it now i am able to work with jQuery calendar and javaScript.
Windows Server 2008 and jQuery Blocked on IE8 Solution
1) Open Server Manager.
- Start > Control Panel (Hit Windows + R, and type “Control” to open control panel from RUN)
- Go to Programs > Turn Windows features on or off
- Click Server Manager
- Now Put the cursor on the root node called, “Server Manager”
2) Turn Off the Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration for Administrators and Users.
That’s it done!
