Second Life Game – Initializing VFS Error Resolved

My friend was not able to access Second Life game, and suddenly he called me and told that When he was trying to start Second Life it gets stuck on “Initializing VFS” Screen. While investigating the issue i did noticed that when i double click the SecondLife.exe then it is getting freeze on the “Initializing VFS”, but after trying some trial and error i got the solution of the problem on his PC.

Additional Details i have found on web: – In Second Life, my game freezes every time I try to start it. It freezes at ”Initializing VFS” It wasn’t loading, my computer is have the required things, and I had played this game before I reinstalled my computer. Please help! I really like this game. I unistaled the game, and insteled the game again, and it’s still don’t want to star….

Second Life Game – Initializing VFS Error Solution

Step 1.Close your Second Life Application – If already running. (You can Kill Process from ALT+CTRL+DEL, Task Manager).

Step 2. Just Navigate to C:Documents and Settings >> YOUR_USERNAME >> Application Data >> SecondLife and Delete all the folders given in there.

Try deleting the Second Life Folder in AppData

Now Try to Restart the PC and Restart the Game and Done

Windows Vista – C:UsersAppDataRoamingSecondLife
