See read carefully this post and think about each and every point i have listed below before choosing your domain name.
Look at Some Basic Rules First: Your URL Should be

1. Short
2. Memorable
3. Related to the Business Name or Core Business, and
4. Hard to misspell

.com vs .info vs .org and etc…

Myth: .com is a best one and is given seo advantage.
From my point of view: I honestly don’t think there is any user bias against the other extensions, I think the general public just needs time to find acceptance of the others. Let’s face it .com has been around a long time and the other extensions are relatively and not heavily used. If they were heavily used so that folks saw them more frequently they would be more readily accepted.

Position of the keywords in the URL

Google’s Matt Cutts posted a recent video answering a question about the position of the keywords in the URL. The question asked, does the order of the words in the URL make an impact on one’s ranking at Google? Matt Cutts said one should not obsess about the order of the words but he said keywords in the URL “does help a little bit.”

Question: Matt if all new sites should make sure to have keywords in the URL.
Answer: “It makes sense if a) it’s easy for you to do in your content management system, and b) the keywords are useful and descriptive–definitely don’t overdo it.”

Here is the video, it is worth watching:
