Use Naukri On Chat Through Gtalk: Today i am going to write about Getting Job Alerts When you want via G-talk, Lacks of people are using Naukri.com and now all of them can get easily data of the jobs and position in our very own G-talk, i know if you don't know this thing, you will not going to believe me but its true :-).

How to add NaukriOnChat to Gtalk?

It's as simple as adding a friend to your friends list in Gtalk. Follow the steps below to add NaukriOnChat:

1. Just click on add button in your Gtalk account to see invitation box.
2. In the invitation box, enter jobs@chat.naukri.com to invite NaukriOnChat.

3. Once submitted, you will see naukri in your friends list.
4. Type "help" in the chat window to get instructions on how to search and apply to jobs

5. If jobs@chat.naukri.com is shown as invited in your friends list and is not showing available, then still you can use it to search and apply to jobs. It will be shown available to you later.
6. If you don’t find jobs@chat.naukri.com in your friend list after adding then you can try again the above steps.

How to use NaukriOnChat? What should I type in chat to search and apply to jobs?

There are various commands with the help of which you can search and even apply to jobs using Gtalk. Please see below the list of such commands to search for jobs:

1. js » stands for job search, use it to search for jobs.
   • e.g. js project manager delhi 3 yrs, js sales manager Mumbai 5 yrs.
   • You can enter your experience and preferred location to search for jobs.

1. next » to view more jobs from your search once you see 3 jobs as search result

1. jd » stands for job description, use it to view job in detail
   • e.g. jd ab0c1, where ab0c1 is a jobID mentioned at the end of each job in search result

1. apply » to apply to any job.e.g. apply ab0c1 abcNaukri...
   • ab0c1 is job ID mentioned at the end of each job in search result.
   • abcNaukri is your naukri account username which is required only for the first time you apply to any job through chat.
   • Your Naukri Username is case sensitive.

1. prev » stands for previous, to view previous search results

What is jobID and where is it mentioned?

JobID is mentioned at the end of each job in search result.

It is an alphanumeric code with 5 characters. Each job available with naukri is assigned a unique JobID.

How to apply to a job? Which username to use to apply?

Once you conduct your search, you will see 3 jobs as search result. You can apply to the most suitable job/s by just typing the below command apply jobID Naukri Username, JobID is mentioned at the end of each job in search result, Username is your naukri account with which you login to naukri.

Before applying, please note that you have put the same Gmail ID in your Naukri Account with which you are chatting in Gtalk. Also we do authentication properly by looking up your Gmail ID with your Naukri Account so that no other user can apply through your Naukri Account using his Gtalk and neither you can apply by putting someone else's Naukri Username.

What are the benefits of using NaukriOnChat?
