Update Quick Heal Antivirus Offline-Manually
After Providing Free Quick Heal Antivirus Updates, today i will teach you how you can easily Update Quick Heal Antivirus Offline Manually you can update quick heal antivirus no matter it is a total security or internet security version.
I have take detailed screen shots for each steps to guide you, follow the steps given under to update you quick heal virus definition.Before starting the process first Download Latest quick heal Updates.
Step 1: Open Quick Heal Total Security or Quick Heal Antivirus Plus.
Step 2: Click on Options Link in the top right corner.
Step 1: Now Navigate to the Automatic Updates > General Settings, and then make all check box given in the right pane unchecked, Now you will find exactly below that Select the Updating Mode, Click on Pick from Specified Path radio button and then click on folder button and give the path to your update folder, choose the index.bin or index.dat file from the folder and press OK.
Now after coming back to the main screen you just need to click on UPDATE Icon (with Green Arrow) and wait for the finish, Restart your PC and check you virus definition.
That’s it! very easy process

I have tried the procedure given above, but after selecting the specified folder, I couldn't select Index.dat file, there was no option to select that or that folder its not opening.
One more Query, I have Internet connection to my PC and I am having Single user license to my Quick Heal Antivirus, Can you tell what settings I need to do to it should update automatically weekly or monthly. PLEASE.

After Selecting the specified Folder you need to go the main screen wher you will find the Update button with Green Arrow(Refer Last Screen Shot), click on that button and then you will find how to select the index.dat file. And Regarding your License, which license you have? because quick heal has 3 versions like 1)Quick heal total security 2) Quick heal internet security 3) Quick heal antivirus for PC only. find first for which version you have a license key. then i guess you can do further settings. once setting done your quick heal will update automatically when it finds updates from the main quick heal server.

how can i know the validity of the update file or when i download the next update
@anuj, Friend "validity of the update file is not related to the expiration time of quick heal", If you are using Quick heal Trial version then you should update the quick heal once after setup and then you can start automatic updates for the exact one month. After one month when your trial will expire you can download the Update file again from here and Remove and Reinstall quick heal again and do the same procedure monthly. Let me know if you still have any doubt.
